Vintage European brooch crafted in solid 835 silver with a warm gold gilt finish. The centerpiece is a domed medallion featuring a cloisonné-style enameled flower in rich hues of red, green, black, and blue. Surrounding the enamel is a circle of delicate filigree leaves, framed by a finely scalloped filigree border.
The brooch measures approximately 1 7/8" in diameter and weighs 9.0 grams. It fastens securely with a pin and safety clasp.
The reverse is hallmarked 835 for silver fineness along with a maker’s mark (shown in close-up photo under microscope for clarity) and has also been acid tested for silver authenticity.
Dating to the mid-20th century, this elegant piece reflects the artistry and attention to detail of European silversmiths.
