Tagua Necklace Flower Bouquet in Orange Handmade Fairtrade

This gorgeous bouquet is a cluster of three flowers, comprised of tagua beads and their rind. When the tagua seeds are fully dried, the brown rind is shaved off and dyed, creating these naturally beautiful scales that are used to make up the flower’s petals. Two lentil-shaped tagua beads are placed in each flower’s center and all the parts are hand sewn together at the back with a cotton cord (The bouquet measures 1.5" x 1.5"). Two small tagua seeds finish it off at each end tip, and a macrame makes it adjustable for added versatility (measures 32”). All these natural beads are vegan, sustainable, and organic, pure eco-friendly vegetable ivory: plant-based accessories.When ripe, tagua seeds are harvested and sun-dried, becoming rock-solid to resemble ivory in color, texture, and hardness, hence their nickname: “Vegetable Ivory”
